How do I know if relationship counselling could help?

Every couple has hard days. But if the same hurt keeps coming back, or home doesn’t feel calm anymore, it can help to talk to someone.

The same arguments on repeat

Small things turn into big fights, and nothing really gets sorted.

Feeling distant or unheard

You live together but hardly talk, or your partner doesn’t seem to listen.

Caught between family and partner

You feel pulled between what your spouse wants and what your parents or in-laws expect.

Trust and hurt that won’t settle

Something broke the trust, and it still hurts long after.

What happens in relationship counselling?

You’ll have a safe space to talk about what’s been happening, understand recurring patterns, and work through conflicts or communication difficulties. The focus is on understanding yourself and your partner better and finding healthier ways forward.

See what keeps happening

Understand why the same fights or silences keep coming back.

Say what you need

Learn to say how you feel without blaming or going quiet.

Handle family pressure

Find a way to deal with parents and in-laws that feels fair to you.

Figure out what you want

Get clearer on what you want from this relationship, in your own time.

No judgement here. You decide what to talk about, and nothing is rushed.

About Dr. Lisha

Common questions about relationship counselling

Can I come on my own, or do we need to come together?

Either works. You can come on your own, or with your partner for a couples session. Both are online, by video or audio, in English or Hindi.

How do couples sessions work?

You and your partner join the same 50-minute session together. Dr. Jindal makes sure you both get a fair chance to speak, and she doesn’t take sides. If you’re not sure it’s right for you, ask on the 15-minute fit call.

What if my partner isn’t ready to join?

That’s okay, and it happens often. You can start on your own and work on what’s in your hands. If your partner wants to join later, you can book couples sessions then.

Can you help with issues involving in-laws or family?

Yes, this comes up a lot. Many people feel stuck between their partner and their family, especially after marriage. Talking it through can help you find a way that feels right.

Will Dr. Jindal tell us whether to stay together?

No. That decision is always yours. She helps you understand what you’re feeling, so any choice you make comes from a clearer place.

Is what I share kept private?

Yes. What you say in your sessions isn’t shared with anyone outside them. Our privacy policy explains the few limits to this.

Talk to someone about your relationship

Send us a short message on WhatsApp and we’ll set up a 15-minute call to see if it feels right. You can join from home, or anywhere you have some privacy.
